Hi I’m Jean Ross your personal guide, born and brought up in Orkney. I have been a Green Badge Tourist Guide since 2008. Orkney may not look big on the map, but when you get here it's huge! I am happy to design a bespoke tour for you, a private tour with no one else to interrupt what you want to do, tailored   to suit your interests and requirements.  Archaeology, heritage and folklore tours along with general wildlife walks focusing on the islands birdlife, mammals, wildflowers and geology.

I have lived in Orkney all my life, with a childhood spent playing in 8 feet snow drifts on the farm and learning to swim in the chilly waters of Scapa Flow!  The longer I live in Orkney the more I see and appreciate the beauty around me.
